What are your favorite non-political, non-work-related websites? One of my favorites is galaxyzoo.org. You get to identify galaxies, and it is really hard. I keep worrying that I'll mis-categorize the galaxies I'm given, but then, I guess that isn't too important in the overall scheme of billions of galaxies.

    This woman's life is completely opposite of mine and I find her tales of life in the Arizona desert fascinating. Also Dreamhorse.com, I could spending hours and hours, horse window shopping on this web site.

    I have to wonder, though, if life in Delaware with horses is not just as fascinating and exciting and HOT in summer!?

    Of course horses! Hot, humid, and horses, hmmm, not so good - especially having to wear a helmut in the summer- it take the concept of hat hair to a whole new level.

    I really like http://www.jennsylvania.com/ - written by Jen Lancaster, very funny author of books such as Bitter is the New Black and Bright Lights, Big Ass. I just saw her speak (and had my picture taken with her!) at a reading for her latest book, Pretty in Plaid.

    Lauren always introduces me to things I never dreamed would have a following--a blog for wrecked cakes--who'd've thunk it? I wonder if everyone has a story that would make it onto that blog. I know I do.

    And Trish, I don't know that author's books, but her description of Tinny McMetalpants made me laugh out loud.
