With summer here, we've all been absent. Lauren, this is sooo beautiful. I love the idea of an art deco theme and can't wait to see how you have included a Japanese flair. And I can't wait to see your menu. So what gave you the art deco idea? Was it all those recent trips to Vienna? Or does the building already have an art deco style?
I've always loved the time period, collected some prints by Rennie Macintosh, studied a bit of the work out of Vienna, Prauge, Jungenstile, The seccessionists, art deco, art nouveau, the lines, and elegance of the time speak to me even though I am a tom-boy!
